Robert Kiyosaki became a household name during the 90s when he wrote arguably the best-ever selling personal finance book, Rich Dad Poor Dad.

The book describes Kiyosaki’s time growing up in Hawaii, where he noticed that those around him had a lot more expensive cars and much bigger houses than he did.

But he didn’t understand why.

Trying to address the situation he and his friend, Mike, went searching for answers.

The pair finally got up close and personal access to a local wealthy entrepreneur who was building a business empire in Hawaii.

It just so happened to be Mike’s Dad. He became known as Kiyosaki’s “Rich Dad.”

What followed was what Kiyosaki described to be his real education – in business. His “Rich Dad” outlined the lessons of business that the kids weren’t taught in school and were to be the foundation of Kiyosaki’s career in business.

Over the past two decades has sold approximately 40 million copies as the business lessons that the young Kiyosaki is taught by his “Rich Dad” remain as relevant today as they did back then.
