1. Disney’s First Headquarters – Mind The Lawnmower

Today, Disney is a household name across the globe and is responsible for delivering some of the most magical moments in our childhoods.

However, the $200 billion company was not always the gold standard in children’s movies, and at one point, its survival as a company came into doubt.

Founded in Hollywood, in 1923 by ‘up and coming’ illustrator Walt Disney, the company started out with humble beginnings with a handful of employees fulfilling small-time contracts in an animation industry that was just starting out.

The company’s direction changed drastically after releasing the first full-length feature animation, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. The film became an overnight success and started the franchise’s long and illustrious history.
