Formula One is widely regarded to be one of the most glamorous sports in the world. Full of multi-millionaires traveling to the most exclusive parts of the world to showcase their talent with the fastest and most expensive cars in the world.
The sport’s insanely rich owners, however, don’t have that reputation. Seen as a seedy old boys club, these old tycoons would have given Hugh Hefner a run for his money.
Bernie Eccleston is a fine example.
He married Croatian model Slavica back in 1985 despite being 28 years her senior. To their credit, they lasted longer than most celebrity couples, with the divorce occurring after 24 years and Slavica pocketing over $1 billion.
