At the age of 21, Soto started to pursue a career in acting, and by the time she was 22, she had landed the biggest role of her career, as Lupe in Licence To Kill.
The movie was Timothy Dalton’s last as James Bond as Soto played the love interest of Bond and also the movie protagonist and drug lord Franz Sanchez.
Soto went on to appear in over 20 films, including Mortal Kombat.
The former model met her future husband, Benjamin Bratt, on the set of Pinero in 2001, where she played Sugar.
