Another Beatle to make the list is George Harrison, known as the quieter one of the four. This singer-songwriter was responsible for penning Here Comes the Sun, Taxman, and Something.
After The Beatles parted ways, George Harrison released a solo album entitled All Things Must Pass. This album was critically acclaimed and included My Sweet Lord, his most successful solo single.
Like McCartney, Harrison has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice – once as a Beatle and once as a solo artist.
After years of smoking, George Harrison became ill with throat cancer in 1997 and died four years later at the age of 58.
